$50-$500 mini-grants for writer’s fees for literary events, such as workshops and readings in California; New York State; Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Houston, Texas; Seattle, Washington; New Orleans, Louisiana; Tucson, Arizona; and Washington, D.C. Must apply at least 6 weeks prior to the proposed event.
Eligible organizations include non-profits, for-profits, and informal organizations including colleges, cultural centers, museums, libraries, book clubs, correctional facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, small presses, community centers, senior centers, places of worship, bookstores, cafés, galleries, and theaters.
